Day 5 @ 6?

Look look what oh?? So twenty-nine minutes ago.

I'm walking down to town later. The walk is something I gotta do at least once a week while I'm still at it. It's my third for this week alone. I've got nothing much in mind to buy. Not much cash left to spend anyway. But this lady's gotta walk the walk. Heh.

Thank God It's Friday!

Can't wait for this Sunday. Gonna have "makan-makan" over at one of the faculty's house. Weather, you gotta be sunshiny-fine that day, ya?

Scissors!

You stood at the doorway and smiled. All I could do was give you one quick glance.

Know what I'm doing now? I'm sure you just said what. I'm checking out some vids on youtube. Attempting to tutor myself with some hair cutting tips. For example, "How to Cut Bangs" (no, I didn't type those words in). Don't ridicule me for doing this. My idea on how to cut bangs is pretty vague. And say, I do have the idea, but thing is, I'm not confident enough with my hair cutting skills. I've tried pasting the image of the hairstylist cutting my hair whenever I pay a visit to the salon. It never sticks.

Now, I have to wait for this months' $$$.

I'm getting myself a pair of scissors.

Sunshine

When you looked... What you saw was a mere reflection... That was all.

Don't trip me, please. I don't wanna fall, dear.

The weather's pretty fine today. You know that kind of sky painted baby blue with clusters of clouds spread lightly here and there? That's what I'm talking about. Rain, you can come later.

I bought myself a pair of rubber gloves for RM3 to protect my already rough hands from all the apartment cleaning (those detergents and the like are pretty harsh). The only readable things on the plastic packaging are: Made in Malaysia, No.30, 100%, 8cm, 20cm, 30cm plus "
gants de ménage". The rest is either tulisan Cina atau Korea. Saya pun tidak tahu.

Want to type in more but there's a meeting to tend to. I hope I won't be asked to pray. Maybe I should start thinking of what to say. Just in case. I'll occupy my thought with that.

Ta.

Reflection

So I see you. Then you see me. And not a word escapes...

Sitting and waiting, I am. Expecting the afternoon showers of what I guess I have accustomed myself to. I'll count it as a blessing. The ground's pretty dry. The grass and leaves are coated with thin layers of accumulated dust. Let that be washed off just for today, that all around may be re-freshened when the clouds have lifted.

Listening... I hear it. It has come. ;)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I'm making an announcement. Right here. This blog. Now imagine those drums beating (too bad I can't spell out the sound).

I'm moving out! But something's moved in first before the "to be occupant". Well to be really frank, the 'minors' have moved in first: Mr. Mop, Miss Baldi (bucket), and Mrs. Broom.

Ohhh piano mo-miano... welcome to the campus! May more fingers come and play your keys.

The move will be my first step to grow independently. The rest will tag along as I take it one step at a time.

Peter Piper...

GOTCHA an ice confection specially brought to you by Magnolia. Grape, strawberry, orange, lemon and pineapple flavors. Mmm. Bring it on
! Not bad for 80 cents (although I really think it should be 70 cents). Treated myself to that earlier. Sweet and icy indulgence, splendid for a hot day. Oh, but it rained today.

Now, before I sound all bitter, I might as well list down a thing or three of what I'm thankful for.

I'm thankful for the heavenly showers today. No hint of signs that it would come in the early half of the day, but oh well, nature knows all too well when to give a surprise. Also, I'm thankful for yesterday. For that, I'll just crazily keep the story to myself. *cough cough cough* I don't have 'batuk kering', okay.

There. I'll stop with the thankful attitude at point number two. I don't have a number three. Hehe. I feel like sticking out my tongue to the side.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

This is the version I got used to. I'm sticking to this one.

Tongue Twisters anyone?

Get your tongues all tangled, twisted, tortured. Abused!!! Good exercise, mah. Then when you get it all wrong, you feel like biting
off your tongue.

This Vs That

So, which writing system are you for - American or British spelling?

Mine's mixed 'cause I've had the influence of the usage of both languages during my school days (I'm talking kindergarten right through college). I'll tell you which spelling I prefer for the two words that I shall reveal: Am. for the word "color" and Br. for the word "neighbour".

If you, my reader, happen to be a high school kid studying in M'sia, be sure to use the British spelling. Refer back to the country's history, I'd say. I'm not sure though how it goes in those luxurious
private schools. Well... I dare claim that as of this date, none of my readers here are below the age of 18 so take no heed of what I just typed in. Aaahhh... 18. Don't you realize how much they use that number for this and that? "Parental control" and such.

I'm in my twenties and mom and dad still poke their nose around. Especially mom. Hmm... parents are parents for as long as they're around and have the mind and attitude of one.

The lady in her twenties has got to go for now.

'til then ~

The Title's "Untitled"

Yo, whaddup people? I promise this will be the first and last time I'll use these words as the opening for a post.

I'm back... here. It's feels good to re-surface after ducking down for awhile.

"Ketua Pentaksir". I don't know what you call that position in English. Anyway, that's the new responsibility that's been handed down to me today. I won't exactly drill with the details. Thing is, I'm not elated with the news. In response to the news, this is the emotion that shot through my nerves: I wanted to laugh like a silly hyena. Or float like the clouds like someone who's high on ecstasy pills or something. No worries, I never touched drugs for the wrong purposes (to heal myself got la - medication they say). I tell myself - the 'right mind me' - this won't be my cause of death. I tell myself again, by far, it's not the biggest challenge in my life. And because I know that is true, I decide, it's not that big a deal. Hehe.

Put that behind. I have good news to put forward. I got myself a new umbrella!! So from now onwards and the happy days that follow, I'll be walking under my new umbrella (ella ella, eh eh eh). Here's the synopsis of what happened to the umbrella that I shall bid goodbye (but not quite so): I was just about to close my umbrella when a gush of wind, with a force that was unjust to the frames of my umbrella, charged at me. And, alas! It was torn - that small 'protective cap' and 'connecter' that played a part in making an umbrella look like an umbrella. I told myself I shall replace it today for the weather could not say that it wouldn't rain today. And so it has happened. A new umbrella boasting its presence behind me.

Hmm...

Just received news. Just. The kind of news we fear receiving. What I wrote in here doesn't matter anymore 'cause all that's in my mind right now is that.

I just want to shut myself in silence at the moment.
